Distribution to streaming services (category 10): CD Baby charges a one-time $9.99 per single or $14.99 per album with no annual fee and states you keep over 90% (official); DistroKid sells annual plans from $24.99 with 100% of streaming royalties (secondary); Spotify requires 1,000 streams in 12 months before a track earns royalties (official).
Direct sales of music and licences: Gumroad takes 10% + $0.50 on direct sales (official); production-music libraries are covered in category 10, with Envato's AudioJungle at a flat 50% author share from 2026-07-01 (official).
